Anoka County Parks wants to engage current park users and residents that are unfamiliar with the park system to assist in future planning efforts. In collaboration with the Metropolitan Council, Anoka County Parks will be engaging the community through various outreach efforts to ensure that park amenities reflect the changing community needs.

Lake George

  • The County is currently working on a Long Range Plan for Lake George Regional Park. Once completed, the County will seek input from the public. If you would like to provide input, click the link below.

  • Due to archaeological resources in the area, the regional trail must avoid certain areas. This has changed the trail alignment to go around Golden Lake Elementary School as illustrated on the map.
