Trail Grooming Information

A minimum of 4-6 inches of snow is needed to groom trails depending on moisture levels. Focus begins with rolling trails until sufficient base can be established for grooming. Trails will then be groomed with tracks for classic skiing as snow depth increases.

It typically takes trail groomers 4 days to go through the entire trail system. After a fresh snowfall, 2 days are needed to pack and roll trails and another 2 days to groom and set track.

Trail locations are addressed in the following order: Bunker Hills Regional Park (Park, Golf Course, Skijor), Chomonix Golf Course, and finally Rum River Central Regional Park.
