Rice Creek West Regional Trail
The County partners with the City of Fridley on the Rice Creek West Regional Trail. The trail follows Rice Creek from Ramsey County to the Mississippi River. Only 4 miles long, the trail connects two parks that offer many recreational activities such as walking, biking, fishing, and wildlife viewing.
A short segment of trail (1/3 of a mile) goes through a residential area. There is also a tunnel for safe travel under Highway 65 and a trail underpass for the BNSF railway and East River Road.
