Summer Concert Series - The concerts, coordinated by the Coon Rapids Art Commission, take place each Thursday night at 7 pm at pavilion 3, rain or shine. Bring a lawn chair or a blanket and enjoy an evening of free entertainment. Anoka County Parks waives the vehicle entrance permit fee for the evening.

A popular fish to catch in the Mississippi River. An invasive fish, they were intentionally introduced as a game fish in the 1880s. They are now one of the most disruptive and damaging aquatic species. However, carp is one of the most widely eaten fish in the world.Mink
Mink are found around lakes and rivers. They are nocturnal, meaning they come out at night. Mink are also great swimmers and can swim up to 100 feet under water.
