  Minnesota Park & Recreation Association (MRPA) - Islands of Peace is a subsidiary unit of Riverfront Regional Park. The visitor center is home to the Minnesota Recreation and Parks Association (MRPA). The purpose of the association is to improve quality of life by promoting the profession of parks, recreation and leisure services within the state of Minnesota.
